QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
CAN YOU GROOM PETS THAT HAVE SPECIAL NEEDS?
Yes in the majority of cases I can! Whether they are a puppy, senior or have visual or hearing limitations, I can accommodate most pets.
HOW OFTEN SHOULD I GROOM MY DOG?
That depends on their breed, coat, and other factors like how often you brush them at home.
Generally speaking, it is best to have your dog groomed every four to six weeks.
For long-haired dogs, this reduces the likelihood of severe matting.
For dogs with an undercoat, this reduces shedding and adds luster to the coat.
MY DOG HAS NIPPED OTHER GROOMERS, CAN YOU GROOM THEM?
Unfortunately, no, we do not accept aggressive pets. Taking your dog to a groomer in a Vet's office may be more appropriate.
MY PET IS MATTED. CAN YOU GROOM THEM?
Moderate-severe matting typically requires shaving your pet down. Trying to brush out moderate-severe matting causes pets unnecessary pain, stress, skin irritation, and is extremely time consuming. Small areas of matting can be removed to prevent shave downs, but there is an upcharge.
P.S. Regular home brushing and having your pet groomed every 4-6 weeks is a great way to prevent matting!
WHAT HAPPENS IF I NEED TO CANCEL MY APPOINTMENT?
As a mobile service and we are unable to accept walk-ins, so late cancellations and no-shows greatly affect our sustainability.
If the pet owner doesn't answer the door or cancellation occurs with less than 48 hours notice, there will be a $40 late cancellation charge.

ANY SCHEDULING TIPS?
If you plan to have more than one pet groomed, please schedule their appointment to begin no later than 1 pm.
DO YOU STILL GROOM IN BAD WEATHER?
The salon is fully-equipped and able to tolerate most involvement weather, but there may be some events that result in the shop closing. For instance, when there is a cold or heat advisory, blizard warning, dense fog, tornado warning or if local schools are closed due to weather. Safety of everyone is always taken into consideration.
WHEN I CALL YOUR BUSINESS NUMBER NOBODY ANSWERS. WHY?
For safety reasons I don't answer the phone because I'm either grooming a pet or driving. I will get back to you ASAP if you leave a message. If you don't leave a message on the voicemail, I will not return your call.
